2019: IT’S OUR TENTH ANNIVERSARY!
We are thrilled to be celebrating 10 years of reverential riverside revelry on the mighty Petaluma River. How did we make it this far? Was it divine intervention? Did the spirit move us? We think so! We continue to be inspired to bring the Revival to the P Town masses so we can all join together in communion to spread the word about conservation, community, artistry, music and old-timey fun for the whole family.
So come and be saved at Rivertown Revival on Saturday, July 20th, 2019. Hallelujah!
Friends of the Petaluma River bring you the 10th Annual Rivertown Revival!
Ours is a festival to celebrate our town, community and the mighty Petaluma River. We will have live music, activities on the water, delicious local food and drink, a Curioddities Tent filled with breathtaking creatures, creative Sonoma County vendors, a large Play Area for kids and kids at heart, interactive art and more.
Every year we are dedicated to creating an unforgettable and eco-friendly event decorated with re-used, re-cycled and re-purposed materials as much as possible. We love to take trash and turn it into garbage ;-)
Please join us dressed as yourself or any zany, odd, beautiful, ugly or avant-garde character you see fit. Your presence and undeniable creativity add to our event. See you Saturday, July 20th!
Rivertown Revival is a Benefit for Friends of the Petaluma River (FOPR), a local non-profit dedicated to celebrating, conserving and educating the community about the Petaluma River and its watershed. Throughout the year FOPR hosts river cleanups, free boating on Sundays, a nature camp for kids, barn dances and much more.
In 2014 FOPR implemented a Watershed Classroom Program which enables teachers throughout Petaluma City Schools to teach common core curriculum through the lens of our River and watershed. Please stop by the FOPR tent at Rivertown Revival to learn more about us.
