Susan Stewart, PhD, is an emerita professor of psychology, a retired psychotherapist, a regular contributor to Psychology Today, and author of new-released Winter’s Graces: The Surprising Gifts of Later Life. She is a member of St John’s Episcopal Church in Petaluma, a singer, a cellist, mother of two grown sons, grandmother of four, and she loves to dance.
Susan will speak about some of the gifts of later life — such as contentment, compassion, necessary fierceness, and the capacity for riding the ebbs and flows of life with wisdom, equanimity, and humor. Copies of Winter’s Graces will be available for those who wish to purchase them ($18, cash or check only, please). The luncheon is $5. Seating is limited, RSVP to office [at] ststephenschurch.org
All are welcome.
