Chi Nei Tsang (pronounced CHEE-NAYT-SAHNG) is a tremendously gentle and powerful means for facing what has kept us in disharmony and cut off from life. When we can face the disruptive patterns, we can create new in roads of health and harmony, strengthen our constant (but sometimes compromised) connection with the Cosmos and the Five Elemental Forces, and learn to live according to what we want rather than what old patterns dictate.
Chi Nei Tsang is a practical Taoist healing modality in which the practitioner uses an internal Chi Kung practice and her or his hands on the abdomen of the recipient to access, detoxify, and transform the internal organs. When we heal, we do so on the metabolic, emotional, and structural levels equally. The gut is the second brain. When we transform it, we transform our lives.
Gilles Marin is one of the world's foremost healers and teachers and we are honored and delighted to be returning to the Orizon Center for the second annual month long retreat on Crete. Prior month long retreats with Gilles have given the space and guidance for participants to ignite a healing process that there is no turning back from!
This year we are privileged to welcome two additional extraordinary teachers: Stephanie Wilger will guide a one day Women's Taoist Practices class, culminating in working with the Jade Egg; Mary Ellen Derwis will teach a five day Chasing the Winds course.
The retreat is open to everyone from all walks of life. It is possible to attend only part of the retreat if you can't make it to the entire six weeks. Students who have never before studied with Gilles may take part in the Taoist Chi Kung Basics and the Fundamentals of Chi Nei Tsang courses, then any course thereafter. Those who have studied with Gilles before may come in at anytime. Welcome!
